What the hell do you do with decent cards in early-mid position?

I'm talking about cards like suited connectors, suited connectors off by 1, JQo, JKo, JKs, A10o, A10s, A-rag suited, 22-88, general cards that you have no problem seeing the flop with.

What the hell do you do with them in early-mid position?

I've tried calling or raising 2xBB if I'm in mid position but most of the time I get reraised 5-6xBB and I fold, automatically thinking the reraiser has a superior hand. What do I do?

most likely they do have a better hand, but if you are limping you are telling them to raise you and a bet of 2x isn't much better. Here is what I do, however this isn't a steadfast rule and I will mix it up. If I am in very early position I usually toss QJo, KJo, A10o. Again, not always, but as a general rule.

Small pairs I am usually limping and not having any problem calling a 3-4x bb raise, knowing if I spike a set my implied odds are through the roof.

The tricky cards are the KJs, A10s, and even to a point the Axs. Hands you want to see a flop with, but don't want to play way out of position. I generally mix this up pretty equal of fold/limp/raise. I play with a bunch of the same guys though and I will also limp in early pos with AA and AK (and play it likes aces) I dont like to do that, but if a table is super agro I will do it too slow em down so I can get away with a few limps here and their.

It depends on a lot of factors but i will say limping or raising 2x BB is not in the equation at all. Raising your normal raise or folding should be your 2 choices in an unopened pot..
By the way if you have no problem seeing the flop with AX, KJ,etc in early position your a pretty good player...Avg guy should muck these PF fast in all but the loosest of games..
