1-1-1 yesterday didn't get to spend much time on my pick as I was at the lake so lets gettem today.

It's a lot of chalk but im willing to lay it here. The Padres are Hitting a lowly .219 at Petco Park. Dempster is 7-1 with a 3.55ERA in 10 starts against the Padres & the cubs desperatley need to get some wins. Hopefully a new closer should be out there and be able to finish off a game for them.

Felix Hernandez is fantastic on the road and against the Tigers. He hasn't lost on the road since May and has a 2.72 ERA. He has won both starts against the tigers this year with a 2.77 ERA. He's won his last 5 starts against the Tigers. I love the Mariners here for this price.

small play:
Kansas City 1st 5 innings
I like this play with Garcia on the mound for the whitesox. He hasn't pitched a big league game in a long time, and against KC he has lost his last 5. Garcia is 8-11 with a 6.12 ERA lifetime against them. He will be pitching against Gil Meche who is 7-3 with a 3.83 ERA against the sox. The Royals have given up leads or ties both of his starts this year which is why I'm taking the first 5.
