[h=1]'Married With Children' Just Had The Best Family Reunion Ever[/h] The Huffington Post | By Lily Karlin

Katey Sagal was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, and she celebrated the occasion by reuniting with her "Married With Children" co-stars.
Seventeen years after the groundbreaking sitcom went off the air, Sagal posed for a classic picture with Christina Applegate, Ed O'Neill and David Faustino.

“I thought she was the coolest person I had ever met in my life,” Applegate said of meeting Sagal in a speech at the ceremony. “But what I didn’t realize is that that person was gonna become my mom. I spent more time with Katey and Ed and David than I did my own family … and I couldn’t be more proud of her, and I couldn’t love anybody more."
"When I was a kid, my parents used to always tell me I was too much, in a loving way," Sagal said in a speech of her own. "I felt everything very deeply, I took everything very personally. But then I became an actor and I found a place for all of that," she continued. "What began as a self conscious flaw became an asset."
"Married With Children" ran for 11 seasons on Fox before ending in 1997.

Watch reruns all the time. Was only slightly into it when it was airing originally, but I agree it is a solid show :toast:

I can't watch anything with Gemma Teller, sorry.

I am just about finished season 3. Looking to go through all 11 seasons before the end of the year.

I would have banged Peggy 100% back in the day. Many camel toes when pausing the show at the right moment.

Great show, jokes do not get old and I love the 1980s references. Plus, many actors making a cameo on the show in the early stages of their careers.

Finally, they made a huge mistake letting Luke Ventura off of the show. He was the man: Luke Ventura (Ritch Shydner) – A coworker at the shoe store early in the series in Season 1. He was a sly womanizer who was always seducing beautiful women and stealing Al's sales. Peggy hated him while Al tolerated him. He disappears from the show after the first season, but is mentioned again in the ninth season episode "Pump Fiction," when Al learns from the shoe industry publication "Shoe News" that Luke is being given an award. Though he was portrayed to be a friend of Al's in the beginning of the series, after his disappearance, he had been spoken of as if he had since become Al's rival.

Bur Griff was good, but Iron-rod; or spare tire; spare tire issues; when al scores the td against the foe who claimed AL did not cross the goal line was a classic..!!

Yeah it isn't Katey Segal's fault or anything, Sutter has just beaten that characters storylines into the ground.

The ending of last season was badass but at the same time really implausible and she just has worn out her whole mama-grizzly story arc IMO

I like the street stuff with other crews, gun running and everything that comes with that. The family stuff in Sons has worn thin though

Totally agree, you could empathize with the character for the 1st 3 seasons but afterwards is just became annoying and overbearing... her arc fuckin the latino guy wasnt great either... I actually think Gemma should have died instead of Tara.

I love Katey Segal too... Gemma the character is a drag

I actually do like Jimmy Smits a lot on the show though, he is great on it.

Atleast 1 of them died....The Gemma/Tara power struggle needed to end
