LAA -105: With an other-worldly team BA in the .290's facing a team with the second highest ERA in the AL, I have to take the Angels at this low, low price. Tribe has packed it in for the year and I'm cashing in!!

Mil/Pit Over 9: This one will be in the teens. Ohlehndorf has looked decent at times, not allowing more than 3 runs in a month, but he comes with the Pirates bullpen. Meanwhile, Manny Parra has given up 22 runs in his last 5 outings (29 innings) with 4 of them being wins.

Really? I'm tired of seeing forced flawed reasoning just to justify a play around here.

True to your highlighted sentence, I fully agree but the gentleman does have a couple of solid points to justify the play as well.
You are however correct in your statement that there is a lot of ridiculous reasoning to back up many posted plays in the forum.

Hou +100 (1 unit): Norris has been a cash cow since being called up and I like Houston at home in this spot. Astros haven't lost a series opener at Minute Maid since June 23rd. Might be a reach but that's why they call it gambling.
