The Angels lineup is at full-strength, finally welcoming back both Vladdy and Torri Hunter. Every hitter #1 - #9 has a batting average of .300 or above. This team is on fire and they are ready to bury Texas in the AL West.

CBS Sportsline put it best, "The Angels don't play a legit title contender until the third week of September (unless you count the Tigers or White Sox as legit title contenders, which no sane, impartial observer should), so they'll be 30-plus games over .500 in no time at all."

The schedule over the next 25 games for the Halos should be an absolute cake-walk. As an Angels fan, I know they tend to play down to their level of competition, I just don't see that happening this time. They could not be hotter, with exception of their bullpen which is making drastic improvements in the last few weeks. This team is scoring ten runs a game like it's going out of style. I'm going to be following the Angels for the next 25 games and see how I do. Jump on the Halo train, it should be a good ride.

Opponents will be: @ CLE, @ TOR, DET, OAK, @ SEA, @ KC, SEA, CWS

Game One: 8/19/09

Scioscia has Kendrick in the lineup today, so that leaves one hitter is below the .300 mark.

ML: Angels -124
