I know the Uk books are really bad with limiting you if you're a winner etc but here's my experience with my first ever bet at Pinny. I was under the impression they took a bet of reasonable size.

Match bet in the world championship athletics womens 1500m. This is the second biggest track and field event outside the olympics and max bet allowed 42 pound at basically evens.

WTF and no other US books taking a bet as far as i could see.

Of the books that offer match betting on athletics - Expekt will take bets for 250 ($410) pounds approx, Skybet 200pounds approx, ladbrokes more than that but limited offering, Bwin will offer 150-200.

Further these are accounts I am limited on. I presume I could get more if I wasn't classed as a restricted account. I really can't see why Pinnacle bothers putting it up if they are going to take bets of $300-$400. I mean its the world championship for gods sake, not some mickey mouse event.
