It has been my impression that these travel vouchers are a scam. I am not saying that is the case here. But does anyone have details on how the travel voucher works?

In case anyone has not noticed, Vegas is on sale. You can get Golden Nugget rooms for $39 and less than $100 on weekends, similar rates found at Luxor. I got RIO for $49 last week. The off-strip places are a great value (Orleans, Gold Coast, Sams Town).

I've played there once since July 2007 and I got this offer in the mail.

$33/nt (including Fri and Sat); minimum three night stay.
Valid from 10/1 - 11/30.
Can be used multiple times; minimum four days between trips.

Call 1-800-457-3307 and ask for offer code QX46DF

As in the OP, this isn't an ad even if it appears to be.

rooms this week were $200+ per nite, their business is convention dependent. quantum is staying this week on the deal quoted above. i just checked out and into the hell hole nugget. the rooms on that offer are the basic ones, they are just fine. the more expensive ones, upgrade, are of course great. they have the best sports book, for wagering and viewing. but the casino is small and quiet. definitely not the place if you are looking to party. the book will be very crowded on football days, mainly locals, as there is a parking lot and a back enterance off joe e brown that makes for easy access

Yeah, I'm there right now. I got $35/night from Sunday to Thursday. I paid $55/night for Friday and Saturday for their Summer Splash promotion and also got a coupon for a free night's stay in November or December and a couple free drink tickets and 2 free breakfast buffets.

Even the basic rooms are pretty nice. The only drawback is that Internet costs $14 per day but most hotels will charge you here in Vegas.

They have a lot of restaurants and the location is great since it's on Paradise which is just east of the Strip. It's very easy to travel down Paradise and then park in Strip parking lots without actually having to go on the Strip. You can also take Paradise north of Sahara and it turns into Main which will take you to the Nugget without travelling on the Strip.

It's also easy to get to I-15. You just go north on Paradise and take a left on Sahara which is just a couple blocks north. I-15 is only about a couple miles west of Paradise and you're set. Since Sahara is on the north end of the Strip there isn't as much traffic as there is on Tropicana or Flamingo (which is under construction).

Totally nude. Kind of young for my taste. You know you're getting old when the strippers look like they are in high school.

It's $20 for a lapdance but $100 for 4 songs in the VIP room. They try to tell you that you get more contact in the VIP room but who knows? They could just be feeding you a line. I didn't spend the $100.
