We have added a Computer Line column to SportsOptions. These numbers are generated by a handicapping program developed by solid a betting group. NCAA Football lines are up now and we will have numbers up for all regular season Pro and College Football games.

To view the Computer Line, go to the Setup menu and select Columns. On the Columns Setup, add the Computer column.

can you tell us more about the program/group? do they bet enough and have enough confidence in these numbers that we can generally expect the number to move toward their prediction by game-time?

is the main purpose of publishing these to suggest that users bet with the "computer" when there's a big difference? how does this group benefit from having their predictions published?

Hey GC -

The group is not the biggest, but they do bet big enough to move the line. These numbers are not their only tool, but they do rely on them.

They don't have anything to gain by putting the numbers up. They like our service and just want to give us some good info.
