You see the books tell you a gutshot is some kind of bad hand that is a big dog and you'll go broke playing them...yadda yadda manyadda...
Anyway the pros know this is bullshit and you will see them making this play alot because they know the TRUE odds....which are now a very solid and PROVEN over close to 80 hands now FAV of 55-18. Thats right as hard as the poker writers may stress different the TRUE odds of calling my pair with ANY 2 cards remains a very good bet GUARANTEED to put you in the winners circle.
So next time you have that gutshot straight draw for your whole stack dont hesitate to push them in there....SHOW EM UR A PRO who knows the TRUE ODDS!!!!

Yes, no way to get away from that preflop or postflop.

I am off PS b/c I saw so much more there than at FT, but you see it at all sites. It keeps the bad players coming back, but they usually do not get ITM

From the top first post, I think we should all be aware of low straights draws and high straight draws since there are people who play Ace rag and assume you either have a pocket pair lower than AA or top pair that caught the board.

Open ender straight draw is 4 outs, Open ender straight draw with Ace is 7 outs.

Also keep track of players who plays or not plays ace rags offsuit, ace rag suited, low pocket pairs and rags. Even if there are no straight draws and flush draws.

You are right ....Last night i open from UTG with JJ. blinds are small abd i just had AK, made it 3X and got 4 callers so this time i make like 5X....2callers. Flop comes 88A and i ck, theres a bet and a call and i fold.. Those 2 get allin and the 1st person has 8/10, the 2nd has A6. After A6 loses all his money he spends the next 5 mins calling 810 a donkey........WELL calling with A6 wasnt the brightest fucking thing u could do either buddy........LOL

It never ends i tell ya.. The guy who started this run by calling me on the bubble of a $330 MTT with AJ mthrfckn os is playing in the WCOOP event that i got screwed out of a seat in right now. 75 left he's already guaranteed over 4K if he's the next 1 out.....

I think i might finally have this all figured out though. Some member of my ex-wifes family died and went to heaven....Just at the exact same moment they had an opening for a Poker God........Its the only plausible explanantion....
