He got all the way up to the the million dollar question. The question was LBJ had four drinks on demand in his room at all times. Coke, Tea, Coffee, and A) Fresca, B) V-8 C) Yoo-hoo D) A&W... So this guy has 4 minutes to answer and he has one lifeline. The lifeline was ask the audience. So he asks and 40% of them say Yoo-hoo. He says that was my initial thought. So he starts talking all of this jiberish then with about one minute left on the clock he says I will regret it more if I leave and the answer is Yoo-hoo. So C final answer....... HAHAHAHAHAHA it was Fresca... What an idiot. He just threw away $475,000, and goes home with $25,000

yeah, he was a tool.....he was cocky about it too....he said "yoo-hoo" give me the million, or something like that....

I mean, he's a smart guy, but he really blew it there...you arent risking a few thousand, you are risking life changing money on that, and he lost.....

Was cool to see Meredith come out to do the final question..

I was glad he missed it. I guess that shows what kind of person I am

He said he didn't know the answer that it was the type of question you can't reason out.You either know it or you don't. Risking 475k on just a guess...not me.

that was tonight...

they had a "mystery" guest for the final question for charity....

and it turned out to be Regis, and Meredith came out to ask the question, since she hosts the syndicated version...

he got it right, but he needed some help

The best was when the guy won it all and used his phone a firend on the last question just to tell him he was going to win a million dollars.

Part of me thinks that it was staged in order to get ratings and he will get some money later on.

How can someone throw away $500K like that?

I think its hilarious the title of this thread asks "did anyone see the idiot?" when he is the absolute opposite of an idiot. Did you watch with the show on mute or something? He graduated from high school at 16, went to Harvard Law, was a Jeopardy contestant, and is an entertainment lawyer in LA at the age of 24. He is obviously a genius. I am pretty sure losing that amount of money won't effect him in the least bit down the road. Why not take a shot?

So because he graduated from Harvard, finished high school early, and is a lawyer the move he made last night doesn't make him an idiot? I don't care if your in charge of NASA. If you make a move like that your an idiot. The man clearly got greedy last night and played the game great until the last question. It reminded me of when people play Deal or no Deal and they let the greed and emotions kick in. The bottom line is he had help or an educated guess on every question leading up to that. When it came to that question and he even said "This is a question that if you dont know it you don't know it. There is no reason for me to sit here and use the whole four minutes because there is no process of elimination for this type of question". Right then and there he should have walked away, but he got greedy and wanted to be the first person to walk away with a million in seven years. I said it before and i'll say it again hes an idiot.

I would never hire a risk taker like him to be my attorney.

There are taking risks and there are taking gambles.

He gambled and had his ass handed to him.
