The first question is are you looking for real-time or is a small delay okay?

If a small delay is okay, there really is no reason to use anything other than SportsOptions. Our Standard service is just $99 a month and you get nearly all of the bells and whistles of our Pro service for a third of the cost. Most of the line service companies offer a service at this level, but none of the others can compete with what our Standard customers get in terms of speed and features.

If you are looking for real-time information, you have 3 choices - SportsOptions, GJ Update and Don Best. Each offer a free trial:

SportsOptions - 7 Days
GJ Update - 3 days
Don Best - 4 Days

Here is my quick synopsis of each (keep in mind I am slightly biased!)

SportsOptions $299 - The best combination of speed, features and price.
G&J Update $200 - Good price and speed, lacks some of the features.
Don Best $499 - Good speed, pretty good features, highest price.

Now my SportsOptions sales pitch:

Our Pro service gives customers everything they need in a real-time line service at a fraction of what they have had to pay in the past. And while our prices are much lower than Don Best, our information, features and service is equal or better.

If you just need the lower end service, SportsOptions is an absolute no brainer. If you are looking for a real-time service, all 3 are good options, but you will always get the most bang for your buck from SportsOptions.

Thanks
Rick

VW - How's it going? You guys ready for the busy time?!

It has been a while since I looked at BetRadar, but the last time I spoke with them they did not sell their service to individuals, just sportsbooks. Do you know if that is still the case?

Thanks
Rick

how you been Rick, we keep loving you guys, by far the best service!!

I just spoke to our soccer dept and they told me that betradar is available for anyone who pays for that amount,3500 euros,4500 the premium service, a very high price btw if you ask me, but worth it if you have a big book with wiseguys and scalpers

Rick A has pretty well told you how it is. The old saying different strokes for different folks certainly applies here. There are different services that will fill only your needs and not others. Rick forgot to mention Sports Insights which in itself is not a bad product. For the money, speed , accurracy, and bang for your buck there is n o comparison. Sport's Option is way ahead of the others. The best thing about them is they are never setting still, making improvements daily. You can pay for one month service in one day with the fastest breaking injury report. If Peyton Manning at the last minute wasn't playing, i would want to know, S/O gives you that info first. I have three sevices, two paid and one free, because we scratch each other's back he doesn't charge me. I have had them all or still do and keep praising S/o. It has been a long time since i praised Don Best and was one of the first to sign up with them. with a borrowed computer from Al Corbo because i didn't think i could work it. I later payed him for it after about two weeks of watching the number's . If i wasn't going to keep up with everybody else i was standing in quicksand.

I appreciate all of the props for SportsOptions.

To be considered one of the top line services after just 2 years is quite an accomplishment. The credit goes to our researchers, programmers and especially customers for giving us the feedback we need to get where we are!

Thanks

Rick one thing I'd like to see if you could add is a tab NCAAF and NFL season wins totals. I know you have a couple books listed under futures but it would be very helpful if they could be put in a separate tab like the other sports so we could see what the lines are at each shop. Most have them up now and as someone who plays a good amount of these each year it would be helpful to be able to compare odds at different shops like we do on the day to day stuff.
