Why even bother playing cash games...just play 'Sit&Go Double or Nothing' tourneys?

I'm having success in these $50+$2 Sit&Go tourneys where 5th pays same as 1st. Success as in placing in the $$$ at a 66% clip over 18 tourneys so far while continuing to lose money in cash games. My question is, is it more profitable playing S&Gs in the long run vs cash games if you are a okay-decent player?

Their is no "right" answer here, it all depends on your style and most importantly how variance is treating you. I look at tourny's now with disgust, I just can't stand them. I have been enjoying the cash games much more the past month and a half. If im gonna play a tourny, I would rather do a SNG as well

I prefer MTT myself, SnG's are fine, but I'm thrilled with the prize structure of the SnG's.

I've played in some of those double or nothing tourneys on Pokerstars and they become a crapshoot. Everyone is just aiming for top 5. When the blinds get up, its basically go all-in and hope your all-in wins and you outlast someone else's.

There is rake in those double ups.....60% will barely be ahead. There are guys well over 80%. There is a right and wrong way to play these things towards the end. Stack sizes make all the differance but they can change in 1 hand and surely in 1 lap.

There is also heavy collusion in these things especially at Cake Poker where i doubt they even look...Stars has busted a few rings of colluders but they are more still there..
