Got lucky last night playing DDB video poker, and won $742 for the night. This morning I had $915 in my account. I went to bet some games this afternoon, and it said my bets exceeded my balance. When I looked up, it showed a 0 balance, even though it showed I won $742 last night. Ijust emailed them. Hope it's just a problem with their new system, but it could wind up costing me money if my bets win.

Why not try and solve it with them first before posting it on the forum? Or better yet, why not solve it with them, call Wil or then post it as a last resort.

actually, an entire balance disappearing is worth mentioning, software problems or no.

All balances at Skybook will be restored by tomorrow. The problem is simply software transfers from one system to another with in the ongoing system upgrade that Skybook is working on as we speak.

Posted just a while ago:

Tuesday, August 25, 2009.

I am pleased to inform you that everything is going well with the software upgrade and facility change at Skybook. ummmm.....yeah...mine was at zero earlier and I called.

They fixed it but shows $1 less then what it should be.

Can even go into the history and it shows balance was $1 more.

Don't feel like calling to complain about $1 but I wonder if I am the only one they have done this to.... I hope this isn't their way of saving a few bucks.

unless their payout options have changed very recently.................you will feel like your balance has disappeared if you ever ask for a payout, due to the FACT their payout options are among the most expensive in the industry!!!!

About a month ago I noticed $800 missing from my bank account. I didn't run home to post about it. I called the bank and they realized someone was using my account for fraudulent charges and they credited my account.

enfuego, do u work for skybook? also in this case nobody broke into his account and made bets as opposed to someone breaking into your account, this problem solely lies with the book, and could mess up potential profits of their clients by zero'ing their balance when they plan to bet games. Its worth pointing out and letting people know, even if he did go to them first and they said it would be fixed in 24 hrs, a post is still worthy

where you gonna go post about it at? when it comes to putting my money in a bank and trusting them with it, it is much easier than finding an online book that i can trust with my money. if my bank is wrong, sure, i'll call em, but so far i've been fortunate never to have an issue with a bank. comparing a bank with a sportsbook isn't much of a comparison. maybe compare the book to someone who wants you to front 'em an ounce of weed....what do you know about 'em? with the exception of betus, i've never had an issue with a book that wasn't resolved fairly.

to me, come saturdays and sundays this fall, when i put 500 or more into a book i wanna have the peace of mind of knowing my balance isn't gonna show 0. fuck that. and i've never used skybook, so i'm not questioning their integrity. i'm just saying that as a potential client and as a member of the rx, sharing information is a good service.

the person who started this thread owes it to the forum, in my opinion, to let us know if this issue was resolved satisfactorily.

My point is that posters are so quick to try and throw a book under the bus especially one having some problems at the moment. Why not just give them a courtesy call first? It seems like another poster had the same issue and they fixed it right away.

Seems kind of dramatic. They had a software issue, fixed it and the money is back. It really isn't that big of a deal. Now, if it happened again I think it would be a different story. I think Wil even posted that they had an issue. Why not give Wil a call and ask him about it? I just think you can do a number of things before you run to talk about it on the forums. That actually can make it worse in some cases.

Skybook sent out an email about 2 weeks on the software upgrade issues!

Do you mean two weeks ago they sent it out turksure? I'd shit my pants if my money was flat out gone also but Wil can fix it. He's like Mr. Wolf in Pulp Fiction.
