Hi everyone, I'm new to his forum but I have followed it for some time now. I figured that I would start contributing so we can help each other out to make some money. I will keep a record of my plays for tracking purposes. I won't post my record up to this point because it is not documented and people will only question it. So anyways I look forward to everyones comments. Lets stick to business with informative and well researched analysis on upcoming games.

Here are my plays for tomorrow, write ups will follow

Detroit Tigers @ LA Angels (Under 9.5 -108 Pinnacle)

It may be difficult now to find a book offering this game at a total of 9.5, but if you do I suggest taking the under. Most books are now offering this game at a total of 9 encouraging the public to jump on the over. If you look at the fact that in Saunders last 13 starts, the total has gone over in all of them, then this would appear to be a great bet. However, you have to remember that Edwin Jackson will be on the mound for the Tigers and in 14 road starts the total has gone under in 11. As well, the average total score in all of those 14 starts is 7. So you know that Jackson is going to be tough even for the high power LA offense. While in Saunders case this will be his first start since Aug. 7, coming off the DL because of soreness in his left shoulder. Mike Scioscia has said the rest has helped Saunders and that he has looked great in his bullpen sessions and can throw 110-115 pitches come Wednesday. So I expect a solid outing from Saunders and keep in mind the Tigers are batting .208 against lefties in their last 10 and .225 against lefties on the road.

Houston Astros @ St. Louis Cardinals (St. Louis -120 Pinnacle)

Well the Cardinals have been playing some great baseball since the All Star break and Pineiro has been lights out this year at home. Pineiro has an era of 2.41 at home this season and in 6 previous starts against Houston he has never allowed more than 3 runs. Roy Oswalt will be pitching for Houston and has an era of 4.04 on the road this season. Oswalt struggled in his only start in St. Louis this season allowing 6 runs over 6 innings. St. Louis has dominated Houston at home since 2002 with a 31-18 record. I look for St. Louis to win with the great baseball their playing and Pineiro on the mound. If you can find a book offering this game at a total of 8 I would take the under on that as well. Since 2002, games between these two team in St. Louis have gone under the total 31 of 49 games with 2 pushes.

LA Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies (LA -125 The Greek)

With the start the Dodgers had to the season who would have thought Colorado would have a chance at winning the division. But, only 3 games back starting the series, this is a pivotal series for both teams. So, the Dodgers will send Wolf to the mound who has been pitching great this year and in 2 starts this season against Colorado has allowed 5 runs. Although the Dodgers bats have been quiet recently, I believe that a trip to Coors Field and a start from Josh Fogg might be what they need to get going. Fogg has not started a game this year but has pitched well in relief with an era of 2.25. However, Fogg has proven in the past not to be a great starting pitcher. Forecasters that the beginning of the season projected an era slightly over 5.00 for Fogg. So, I think LA will take this one because they will be simply outmatched pitching wise.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Toronto Blue Jays (Toronto 105 Pinnacle)

Tampa Bay has not played well in the third game of a series this season with a record of 12-24. Toronto will have Rzepczynski on the mound and he has allowed 1 run in each of his 2 starts against the Rays this year. So, with Tampa Bay struggles against Rzep, and the fact that Kazmir has struggled this year and on the road with a 5.10 era I like the Blue Jays to pull out a win. Rzep keeps the Blue Jays in games and Toronto is a pretty solid team at home. I believe Toronto is a good play as a home dog, although by game time tomorrow they may be the favorite.

Friendly note re: DET/LAA Under

We did play the Under 9.5 (-140 at 5Dimes) and like it plenty

Tigers have won 24 Away games this year and 19 of the games After finished Under the posted Total.
