Coming off a 2-2 (-0.75) day. I've completed capping of both the afternoon games as well as the early evening games and have 4 plays at the moment. Will continue to look and see if there are any additional plays throughout the day.

5* Atlanta -1.5 (-105) 5Dimes
5* Florida -1.5 (-115) 5Dimes
5* Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+120) 5Dimes
5* Detroit (+102) 5Dimes

Good luck everyone!

Ted, Det looks great tomorrow. I'm a little puzzled as to how oddsmakers can make Saunders and the struggling LAA bats a fav to Jackson and the surging Tigers? After tonight if the Angels lose they will have lost 3 in a row and will be hungry for a win and try to avoid the sweep, I still like the Tigers though as every day and game is new and fresh. Any thoughts on this matchup and line?

As you can see, Detroit is one of my plays. I agree with everything you have said here. As for the line, I expect Detroit to be favored when the lines move early in the day.

Looking at the early game now. I don't like the Tigers today. I will root for you. Love the Marlins but as usual on the ML

I think the Over is definitely worth a look...

Best of luck if you play the Over. My response wasn't meant to be personal. I really didn't know if KingofNicotine was joking or not. It's just a policy of mine at this time of year to not play meaningless games with bad teams. I try to focus on those still in contention for the playoffs in soft spots.

What's your feel for the O/U in the cle/kc game? It sure seems like a over bet but looks to easy. Just wondering what your thoughts were. Thanks

To be honest, I quickly scratched that game from any consideration either side or total. At this stage, I have narrowed my capping to teams that are still playing for playoff contention. Thus, when two teams meet each other and the game in meaningless, I pass right by to the next game.

Thank you for sharing that with me. In using the RL, you limit your risk for the plus money. Of course, you will lose games by the 0.5 run. I have lost approximately 15 or so. However, you can make it up with the + money wins. In other sports like football or basketball, unless you're a ML player instead of a spread player, you would never consider laying -140 up to -300 on a game. That being said, you have to pick your spots and you have to have winners for the RL to be productive for you. You can't just pick every large favorite and play the RL because many of those are false favorites. You still half to cap the game and be comfortable with the favorite. Also, notice that as the season is in the final drive towards the playoffs, the RL is becoming more expensive and the + money return not as good. Best of luck to you.
