BEST BUY Question ??? on Returns

I got a Flip Camcorder as a Gift...Which I do Not need !

Came with No Gift Receipt, and would feel funny to ask the person that gave me the Gift for one.

What does Best Buy do if you Don't have a Receipt ??

I Look already on Best Buy .com, but I see Nothing about returning something without a Receipt.

If its unopened then they will usually take it back but at the lowest possible sales price in the last 30 or 90 days or something. Typically they will credit you 30% less than what the store is selling it for that day you return it.

If the person who bought it for you is a Rewards Member if you give the customer service person their phone number they can pull up the receipt on the screen.

I think I did that once. I think it was store credit. I can always find something to buy there. Good Luck.

Yeah, I'm not looking for the money back. Want a Mini LapTop
and saw this sucker cost $199, so for another two Bills, I can get a nice Mini Laptop.

Never had one, and can't see where I would need it.

I take a lot of Pictures, and have 3 Cameras.

I have the same one and the model number is U2120B also. I have the receipt right in front of me. It was purchased on 06/17/09 for $199.99

I've had my for 2 months and have been using it pretty much since the day I bought it. There's really no reason why I would need it other then a tax write off but its only a $200.00 camera so im not worried about it. Its all about Karma for me.
