Frenchy is not solid.....Frenchy is fortunate to this point on ERA......scatters 8 hits per 5 on average every game throwing 100 pitches by the the 5th on average....gotton to the 6th only twice in 7 games.
That being said....he's not given up Runs. FORTUNATE. I think thats going to end tonight.
Maybe against the White Sox, Rangers or Yankees, some of the teams he has struggled against. But against teams with little offense, like the A's, he thrives against those teams. I watch the M's games frequently. I've been a die hard fan since I was born. They got a steal with Luke French. The only knock on him is his control. Fortunate, yes. But the M's don't have a good offense at all, so he's had to pitch with barely any run support for the most part. He gets the big out when he needs it though. He knows how to pitch for a 23 year old kid, and he beats inferior teams like Oakland, and Kansas City, and Cleveland.
