YTD: 16-13 (55%)
Let's get the day started early. Not a lot of good lines today. Heavily juiced, but I do like one...
CLEVELAND INDIANS EVEN
The Indians and Orioles aren't playing for much at this point of the season, but you would never be able to tell with the way Cleveland is playing in particular. They are playing the way many people thought they would to start the season, winning 5 of their last 7 games, and 14 of their last 24. Aaron Laffey has been a major reason for that success, as he has quietly become a very solid starter for the Tribe. He is 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA in his last 4 starts, and is 7-3 overall on the season for a team that is well below .500. The Orioles seem to be headed in the opposite direction. They are bottom-feeders in a predatory AL-East, and have been cold as ice lately, winning only 8 of their last 25 games. David Hernandez has not been good at all lately, going 1-4 with a 6.56 ERA in his last 5 starts. He has never faced Cleveland, but with the Indians' bats heating up, right now might not be the best time to make his first start against them. Adam Jones is a game-time decision, as he has missed the last three days with a sore back. Even if he does play, I think he will undoubtedly be affected by that. The Indians are not only the better team here, but they are the hotter team as well, and I have no problem taking them on the road in this spot, especially for even money. Good luck to all!
