Hi everyone,

This is my first time on this site. I am tring to get ready to go to Las Vegas for the first time any pointers on gambling?

take only what you can afford to lose. I know that sounds like common sense, but many fail to comply with this rule.

get the best deal you possibly can.

I mean flights,rooms,comps, and the game you play ( BJ ?).

learn what bets to avoid ( like the field in craps, for example).

learn your game, as best as possible.

Play it at the SMALLEST possible stakes, unless you really think you have an edge....only really possible in live poker and BJ....if you are well studied in casino games.

Dante. One of the classiest & best guys @ the RX. #1 DO NOT play more than you can afford to lose. In LV DON'T take your CC to the Casino, in other words if you lose what you brought, don't "chase". If BJ is your game learn basic strategy perfectly. Don't listen to the dealers, remember no matter how nice they seem, they still get paid by the HOUSE!! Relax & enjoy, gambling can be a lot of fun!! BOL and Welcome!!

First time to Vegas, the best thing you can do is bring comfortable shoes.

If you are walking along and someone asks "hey, where you from folks" or "you want some free tickets to a show" tell them to go to hell.

I have been doing a lot of this and a lot of that. As far as being ready for Vegas, I have no idea.<< I am excited about going and I think Dante is going to show me around if I go to the bash next year.
