7 teams are facing a series sweep 2morrow??

This must be some kind of indication that teams are not that interested, or maybe just burned out.....CWS, COLOrado, WASH, HOUST,PITTS,FLOR,and the Mets all in a position to get swept..

what gives here?

I don't know but I got fucked really bad a few times this week when playing the team going for the sweep. It kind of makes me hesitate on a few of my plays for tommorrow. 2 in particular I really like are Zona with Harren and sf with Cain, but I'm a little hesitant now.
Cain is a beast so I gotta play him, I probably will still play Zona too cuz Harren is good and Wandy isn't so good on the road.

hey guys, i just started a thread on a new system ive been working on.. tomorrow i will be testing "teams that are facing a sweep" for the 2nd time this week. i played houston and mets thursday, both +200 and more dogs, they cashed. i played 3 other teams avoiding a sweep (OR ON A 3L streak) on the ALT RL, all 3 of them cashed. i also played totals (overs/unders) that were going for streaks, and it had 3 totals that went 2-1.. all of these of course were going AGAINST the streak, kind of like "game C's" for chase games..

I think only two teams will be swept. I'd bet on the majority to beat the sweep.

washington in my opinion will definitely put up a fight, and if the win the game odds are they will win by 2+... that should be around +500... other team is Houston/Jays, but then again i can see them both fucking a lot of people who are on Haren/Lester... just be careful fellas

Im not betting on the Sox tommorrow, eventhough I think Halladay has emotionally checked out and I love Lester, I bet on Boston to complete a sweep on THursday and I lost a cool thousand. NOt doing it again.
Best play is home team avoiding the sweep in Florida but I'm scared to even touch a game involving the Padres as these fucks fucked me out of a lot of money this series against ATL.
I like Harren and Cain too much to not play on them tommorrow. Wandy ain't that good on the road and Cain is too dominant and even more dominant at home.

Cubs sweep. Was at the game yesterday and I think that beating may have finished off the Mets. Just look like a team waiting for the season to be over. :toast:

I like FL the best at avoiding the sweep at home by the Padres, FL falls into a "game c" bet in several other systems as well, I am going for it on FL

That's actually interesting. I normally would say hop on all of them. How many sweeps do you really see. BUT, other than FLA, each team is on the road going against the other teams best, or one of the best, pitchers, except FLA and Jays. I can't go against Cain, Wainright (but what a good pay if the NATS win), Haren (Wanny's not bad) but Jay and FLA have a good shot. IMO ~~:<<

I disagree with this comment I was watching the highlights of his last start when he got lit up by Tampa bay - An out fielder bobbled a ball and ended up being charged an error you should have seen the look he shot him from the mound. Everything they said about Halladay during the trade speculation was that he was a competitor and professional and he brings it every day.

Thinking that he has checked out maybe dangerous - although I do think you said you wouldn't bet the game either probably a good decision

I think Toronto RL is the one of the best plays on the board today

It isn't just the last start. He hasn't been good pretty much since the trade deadline. I think he isn't happy there and his pitching has suffered.
