Guys, I've moved to 5 different locations in two different countries and 3 states in the last 10 years and I'm just tired of setting all of our home theater shit up. Where should I go to hire someone to do it for me?

I went to this geek squad thing at Best Buy and the guy quoted me at $200 just to set up my internet. I told him I already have my computers and router and apparently $200 is for labor but I'm not paying a guy $200 to set up something that will take him about an hour.

Any thoughts?

Screw the Geek Squad. Look at the local TV appliance store and check their price. I try to get the smaller, independent stores as they are more flexible, and do a better job. Directv may be able to help also if you have them already.

Yeah, direct is setting my boxes up tomorrow so I'll ask him. Thanks FW.

Even better as it may be free. Just do the internet yourself. Even if you have to tip the guy a little to do it, it is worth it.
