I got a local who is offering a season long prop bet. The bet is: Pick any 6 teams that WILL NOT make the playoffs. All 6 out of 6 must not make the playoffs to win. It is an even money bet risk 100 to win 100. I think I should be getting more then even odds on that personally. What do you think is the correct odds are and what other 5 teams would you take after choosing the Lions.

Even money sounds pretty good.

I'd take the Broncos, Lions, Chiefs, Rams, Browns and Raiders

I wouldn't take the Seahawks, Fair. I think their division is a toss up and could easily be won by one of three teams. JMO.

Arizona is head and shoulders better than Seattle. Seattle won't make the WC either.

Zona will be fortunate to win nine games. Their defense should once again be in the bottom third of the NFL (pts allowed) and that's usually a harbinger for missing the playoffs

Zona had a miracle year last year but they aren't as far ahead of the hawks as you'd believe. Everything that could go wrong for the hawks last year did, Hass was injured, wr corps was decimated, lost Kerney and essentially the pass rush with him, factor in a terrible dc and it just made for an ugly season. Assuming they dont run into serious injury problems again this team should contend for the division and I'd argue are the better all around team.

So, who is going to step up in the division?

49ers? Please, not with that QB.
Seattle? Should have went young.
Rams? uh, no.

Arizona will win 9+.

This bet suprises me. This seems like a 6 teamer that actually has a shot at winning. I could see the "pick 6 teams that will make the playoffs" but not this. I would def. bet this. Lions,Texans,Raiders,Chiefs,Bucs,Browns

And the rest of their team is older. Didn't they just sign Housh and Edgerrin James? Housh will be good, but James?

James helped carry his team to NFC championship last season....who's to say he doesn't have another one up his sleeve?
