Ok..here it is....Blanton has given up no more that 3 Runs in his last 6 starts......very consistent. Yes, Atlanta has dominated Philly this year. But its crunch time for the Phillies.....they need to forget the year and show their swagger as the better team, because they are the better team.
In the last series......Philly showed that swagger and won the final game 4-1. Since the break, where there were places like home before on the road.......Philly is now no place like home, going 20-8 since July 2nd. Mclouth is on the DL, and Laroche has been a hot bat that may not play. Philly has an opportunity to win the "Mental Play" tonight. The last series was the 1st that Philly had won against the Braves......do it again by winning tonight, and they will have the mental edge on Atlanta and can help themselves by sending the Braves one step close to elimination.
Do it again, and its 4 out of the last 6 for Philadelphia against Atlanta, and thats all they will care about as they head towards the playoffs.
