Coming of an 0-3 (-16.25) day ending August the way I started. Perhaps September will be a kinder month. We shall see. Be cautious. I have two plays for the evening as I try to keep the season on the plus side.

5* St. Louis -1.5 (+115) 5Dimes
5* Detroit -1.5 (+100) 5Dimes

Good luck everyone!

Ted is that true? I need to get serious about gambling. I made a fatal mistake of chasing bad teams. $1,000 on the Whitesox this past Sunday.

Yes! I retired 11 years ago when I was 50 and was making over 6 figures a year back then in the 1990's, but by 1996, I could see that I could get an even greater return gambling then working. At the time I was putting in about 60 hours of work per week and another 40 hours per week gambling. At 50 years old, I walked out the door, said good-bye to my staff, and never looked back.

My games Yanks -174
Marlins -105 I like them better in this spot. I did not have to much time to cap tonight

Not really. I put a plan in place when I was 22 years old after I graduated from college with the intent to retire at 50. I just worked the plan for those 28 years both in my career and outside investments. It took a lot of discipline but I could focus alot better when I was younger then I can now. And I had alot more energy.

Anyway, best of luck with the Yanks and the Marlins. I'm stoked about watching the Giants and Phillies tonight. Nothing on the game but I'll be watching and hoping for a win.

I think Giants have a good chance of winning that game. I need an excuse to put money on them.

Hey OMT, what's your take on runline bets? Aren't they riskier than just playing the ML?

Of course they are riskier. That's why you have to risk less to make more. But you lose alot of games even though you have the winning team that wins by 1. Risk versus reward. Still you have to be able to pick winners whether it be the ML or RL. If you can't pick winners, you won't win no matter what bet you make.
