Beckett has given up tons of runs his last 2 starts. He has not been himself...that is my guess as to why the line is the way it is.

TB Rays, when playing Game2 of a HomeSeries are 30-1 in their past 31 chances if they are not coming off a Win by 4 or more runs.

Since May 1, Rays have played 14 Home games After a Home game where they gave up 5+ runs.

They're 13-1 in those, with ten of the wins by 2+ runs.

If we give them a mulligan for April, when they lost four times in this role, we can then move back into the last five months of 2008, where they were 15-3 in 18 such spots.

RxForum friend SCOTT L also notes that Boston Red Sox being 1-12 on the Road off a Road Win if they've also Won at least 6 of their last 7 Games since 7-29-07.

On a more recent note, the win Tuesday night was only the second for Boston in their past 14 Away games vs a +.500 team.

They haven't won back to back road games vs a +.500 team since June 13 (at Phil)

Very good information, but now very undecided on who to take. 2 good pitchers usually means a lower scoring game, but both these teams can score in a hurry.

Any thoughts on the total of 8.5?

Thank you in advance.

Never let the price scare off your intuition. In fact, that is probably what it is trying to do.

TB 8 Bos 5 Final
