I hate laying the wood on the A's but this play looks fantastic to me. Both these pitchers are going in completely different directions. Trevor Cahill has a 2.33 ERA over his last 4 starts. He will be facing a royals team that is 24-40 on the road. On the other side of the ball there's Brian Bannister who is 0-4 with a 8.80 ERA in his last 4 starts.

Becket is in an awful slump with a 9.82 ERA and only averaging 5 or 6 innings in his last 3 starts. Becket has given up 12 homers in his last 4 games which is not good against some sluggers on the Rays. Redsox will face Matt Garza in a must win for the Rays. Garza is 7-1 lifetime against the Redsox in 12 appearances, and is 2-0 with a 1.88 ERA against Boston this year.

David Ortiz- 2 for 18 with 9ks
Mike Lowell- 3 for 20
JD Drew- 2 for 16
Justin Pedroia- 5 for 26

The Redsox cannot hit this guy well & the Rays need this game badly with October just around the corner. I'm lookin for Tampa's bats to knock Becket around and get the win. Hopin for a 2-0 tonight to make it a 3-0 day! bol to all :103631605
