Yes, this should be its own thread considering the one started about it has a thumbs up icon, just like the mass media wants you to beleive.

Listen this kid does NOT deserve to be suspended for the season. If he would of missed the punch, if Hout had his helmet on..etc he would only miss a game or two. He was TAUNTED by a player after an emotional game in which the BOISE COACH was trying to stop Hout from aggravating him...

Just because the media and ESPN push things people over react about the situation

I agree what the kid did is inexcuseable and he deserves to be punished but he does NOT in ANY WAY deserve to be suspended for the season.

If he misses there is nothing done to him, is my guess. Once he hits the guy and the guy goes down that opens up for the coaches and others to jump in. The other problem here which we are forgetting is that he did lose his mind as they were getting to the locker room, which could have turned into another huge fight in the stands....

The fact of the matter is that Blount punched a guy and then tried to get into the stands. He's been suspended before. Guys like that don't deserve the honor of getting on the field. Either learn to control yourself like a man or get done for the season.

Sorry Blount. No senior year and a huge drop in the draft that cost you and your family lots of money. Hope it was worth it. Oh yeah, Boise State crushed you twice in a row.
