Very hard. Both teams have to play in the same conditions, so if it is a good number I'll take it

Coming from someone who plays mostly sides and few totals

I think it sometimes can have an effect on the o/u, as extra points and field goals become an issue, especially for an unexperienced kicker

Not sure on an exact MPH, but wind is a much bigger factor than rain or snow. But to be that windy is a rare occurance.

2nite might be one in Calgary

Ya got that right!

IMHO

I play a lot of totals.
20MPH depending on direction and type of stadium.
Open endzone, wind from that or opposite.....not much.

Cross winds play havoc with QB's(swirling)
Anything over 25MPH and it really matters.
I lean under or at least NO over.

Two running teams(CFB) who cares.

Rain no wind.....usually a low line(maybe over?)
Peeps think rain is the under ticket.

pretty fukkin hard. Unless some teams only threat is the long ball and throws it deep or long all the time, the wind shouldn't be much of a factor, unless it's damn near hurricane force wind gusts.

25 MPH will make me start looking at the UNDER

The wrinkle that has been thrown into the High wind/UNDER bets in recent years is coaches will forgo the field goal try from about the 15 to the 25 (too windy) and go for it on fourth down. Leading to more 7 point tries than 3 point tries. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

To get a feel of the different wind conditions, drive your car with the window down, stick your hand out at 15mph, 20mph...30mph etc.

If you bet UNDER when the wind is 35mph or above you will have a long term winning pct above 53%.

Remember that fricking hurricane that came through Cincinnati last year about this time during the Bengals game?

I think it was 80mph+.

I was down there, and if you were between the buildings downtown you better a had your feet firmly planted or you were GONE!
