What do you think of the printed newsletter selections, play them or fade them for the most part.

some are better than others, i like to read them to see others takes on certain games. Phil Steele has a good one, so do a few others. I get the sportsmemo newsletter than has alot of good info and well worth the $150/yr. I don't play their games because they recommend them, just like reading for informational purposes. Wouldn't recommend playing or fading them blindly though

Remember this. Newsletters are written on Sunday night, sometimes after a disastrous week. The thought process isn't jelling. I wrote one for five years.

I used to pick up 1 called The Red Sheet. Im pretty sure its still around. If any of them won everytime we'd all be millionaires but i thought Red Sheet was pretty good..

Agree with Patswin. The info in some of them is more valuable than the actual pick. The Gold Sheet has a Friday Update that is good. My favorite was the Steam Sheet. It was written in South Bend, and it mainly covered the Big 10, MAC, and ND.
