Anyone else love the line-up match-up for the Twins? Toronto is putting out a weaker line-up than usual; No Wells, Rios, Scutaro, or Aaron Hill.
Baker has been back on pace throwing well in 4 of his last 5 starts.
Cecil is no pushover, but lately he has been giving up HR's like CRAZY. The Twins hit fairly well vs. lefties.
Toronto is 3-7 in their last 10 and somewhat sacrificing this 4th game of the series as the Twins are ahead 2-1. If Toronto wanted this game, they would put a better line-up in to compensate for their pitchers recent woes.
The Twins are 6-4 and have not won or loss two games in a row since Nathan blew the 9th inning lead to the White Sox last Wednesday. According to their pace, they will lose today (lose/win/lose/win/lose/win/????). Minnesota also needs to put together another run to the playoffs. They will get their chance against the Tigers, as they will face eachother 7 times in the remaining games of the season.
As of now, today's game might as well be considered a must win, as Minnesota has their best line-up in, and their pre-season Cy Young projected pitcher Scott Baker on the mound. Vs. a terrible Toronto team who can't win with their best pitcher in (last night Halladay got the L vs. the Twins) or their best line-up. Minnesota gets the win in this spot!
