1:00 Starts here on the East Coast

Perfect time to get some good food & drinks, or throw something on the grill.

I know every time I go to Vegas I just can't get used to games starting so early in the morning.

:think2:

Just curious if you guys like it that way, or if you would prefer them to start later?

Don't live out west, but visit a lot. I kind of like the 10a NFL starts, but the 9am college football is a bit much. The NCAA tournament is brutal..zero chance of getting bets down in the morning for the first games of the early rounds

Yea.I'm an East Coaster too,I've often wondered about this myself.I love the 1pm and 4pm schedule.10am doesn't sound very appealing to me.

I have a built in alarm clock in my head during football season to wake up at 9:30am no matter what time I went to bed the night before. Gives me plenty of time to set my fantasy lineups, put down some bets and make a little breakfast (I usually make enough bacon or sausage Saturday morning to cover me for Sunday).

If you are a morning person like me, you love it. I will be at the sports bar at 9am for breakfast. I lived on the east coast and i hated waiting till 1pm for the games. Then, monday night games were a killer. Most games are over after 12. On sunday all the games are over by 4. Then, we can go home and take our wife out to dinner. Its 11:30 right now on the east coast and you guys are ready for bed. Only 8:30 here. I got the Oregon State game to watch at 9pm. Hope you didnt fall asleep watching a good USC game

Are you kidding me ? I get up every day at 6 am anyway so I get really impatient waiting the 4 hours until 10 am. I almost went crazy when I was on the East Coast and had to wait until 1 pm for the early games !
Everyone I know in this part of the country loves the 10 am starts !

Begin on the east coast can be tough sometimes during the week when you've made a west coast NBA play.

Bet them the night before, or durring the week, betting them the same morning is asking for trouble more ways then we can talk about here. Bring your laptop too if you have to get down that close to game time.

Waiting until 1 pm to watch games is not to appealing to me at all. East coast doesn't even lknow what happens in the West sometimes until next day. How does that work as a sports fan ?

Had 49er season tickets since 81 all the way up until they sucked.

Just kidding moved out of state.

To me football meant having my first beer 9:30 a.m. in the Candlestick parking lot.

Watching and having action on the morning games while BBQing.

I get up early for work so I am up early and seems 10:00 will never get here.

I don't know how you guy's wait till one!

+1

It's 7:40 and I'm done with everything I need to do football wise this morning. Stuck twidding my thumbs for 2 more hours until it's time to head to the sportsbar. I could not imagine having to wait until 1pm!

Breakfast & beers at 10, late lunch at halftime (2:30 ish) of the afternoon games....Stop at the store on the way home to grab some grub to BBQ while watching the Bears/Pack kick off at 5:30 and still have a few hours to get shit done after the game.
