Giants, B

Would like to see Jacobs run harder on 3rd and short and 4th and short or maybe better play calling.
And would like to see some more balls thrown at Moss.

Defense was superb though.

Cowboys B-

Offense was okay. Defense looks like they will be giving up a lot of rushing yards.

I'll give my Jets an A, because Mark Sanchez was pretty good for a Rookie Starter on the Road. Even though Thomas Jones had over 100 yards and 2 TD's, he still cough up the ball twice.

Of course the Real test will be this weekend....I think they will be alright.

The only mistake they made was giving up that last TD with a prevent defense. That cost me.

Patriots C+

Bills kick returner goes down at initial contact and I imagine they'd get a F from most fans. Offense looked good from mid-3rd quarter on, but I don't see the D stopping many teams that run the ball well.

Chargers C

- Defensive line got ZERO pass rush
- Merriman still isn't right
-LT looks done and now has high ankle sprain
-OL was a sieve and will now be down 2 starters (including center Hardwick)
- We might have the worst safeties in the NFL (Clinton Hart is atrocious)

-Our punter is BY FAR the best in the league
- Darren Sproles needs 20-25 touches/game
- Vincent Jackson is a BEAST and is gonna be a household name soon
-Rivers is a tough S.O.B

Think AJ Smith doesn't wish he had Michael Turner back and had let LT go for a #1 2 yrs ago?

Ravens, Overall: B

Defense: B
Defense was dominant although it didn't look like it from the final score.

Looked like base defense was used most of the game which is why Croyle had time to throw. Ravens did not blitz hardly at all.

I think the Chiefs had 60 total yards at half time, 20 of which came on a swing pass on the last play of the half.

They ended up with 188 yards total. A 50 yard pass to Mark Bradley that should have been knocked down, bumped that total up a bit as well.

Chiefs scored on a blocked punt and had a 70 yard interception return that set them up with 1st and goal at the 6.

Offense: A
Offense was the most-balanced I have ever seen it. Flacco got everyone involved and they are actually using Heap more.

Running game looked decent but the Chiefs were stacking the line, forcing Flacco to pass the ball.

A few big plays for the Ravens were called back on penalties.

Special Teams: D
Carr looked bad returning punts and kicks and the blocking was bad on FG's and punts. Missed FG and the Ravens didn't win the field position battle as well as they normally do.

Packers- Defense A Offense B- Overall B

work out the right side of the O-line and we have a team that could make some noise this year. That defense was great to watch and a very refreshing sight for us Cheeseheads:)<<

Colts B- Offensive line needs to protect the QB better.
Defense needs to settle down the rush.

An A? Really?! I don't know why Jacobs doesn't run harder on short yards like he did when he was a rookie.

Defense looks great but the offense still needs work. Road win against the Cards is a nice start.

A-

Very happy with the victory! Beat NFC Champs and division rival at their place week 1! Defense looks solid across the board and Patrick Willis is a freak. Mike Singletary has a kick ass and take names attitude and holds each player accountable. I like the fire he brings each week.

Run game is solid with Gore and Coffee. I thought the O-line did a good job out of the gate. I like S Hill at QB as he doesn't make mistakes, and he actually led the 9ers down the field for the game winning drive in the 4th. If the 9ers get down 14+ pts, they dont have the QB and WR weapons to get back in the game. If they have a lead late or in a close game, I love the combination of a 3 and out D and a running attack that can eat away clock.

I hope that Vernon Davis is used more in the passing game this year. He is a freak of nature. Crabtree really hurt us by not signing, as he could have been a great WR threat.

I look forward to seeing what the 9ers do this year. It has been a miserable the last 8 years constantly in a rebuilding mode.

Next is Seattle, where I hope we can go to 2-0 in the division!

Eagles Overall A

The defense completely dominated from beginning to end. Five interceptions and a fumble recovered for a touchdown. A+

Special Teams looked very good (Jackson touchdown). A+

The offense really didn't have to do much because the defense was putting them in great situations throughout the game, but when they were down 7-0 early they didn't look that sharp. B

Bears:

D- Offense was brutal, the wide recievers and Qb were never really on the same page.

B Defense did not play all that bad

F special teams, gave up many yards on returns, and lets not talk about the fake punt.
