Hey guys, I've been told I need to just post baseball in this forum, NFL in NFL forum, etc., so here is my baseball thread.

As you can see in this other thread I started, I am currently

2-0, +11.4 units in baseball so that is the record I will use for this thread

I also have one play today thus far

Twins -150, 7.5 units to win 5 units

I am a very consistent winner, and I won't chase or bet over my head unless I am certain of a winner. 1 unit = 100 bucks and I rarely bet more than 25 units.

I believe this is the kind of spot where Rockies tighten up, listening to the murmurs that they may be blowing this wildcard. Giants bats have really heated up and they are playing like they have nothing to lose. Matt Cain is a gutsy pitcher who will always give them a chance to win, and I see De La Rosa coming down to earth in one of his first real primetime performances. He has been hot, but has to be realizing the stakes here and I don't see him being up to it like Cain is. The homefield advantage will be playoff quality tonight. I think the Giants creep closer tonight.

One more small wager, this will be the only other pick as none of the other games jump out at me.

2 units to win 4.6 units on Nationals ML +230

Just a good value pick because in my opinion Livan is a better pitcher than Blanton and this will be Zimm's second game back so hopefully he can get in a groove. Nationals obviously have nothing to lose and the Phillies at some point will grow a little complacent because they have now essentially locked up the East. Certainly wouldn't risk a lot on it, but worth a dime or two. Good luck everyone.
