I agree. I saw the replay and thought it was live and it looked the ball would be caught easily! And it looked like the left fielder slowed up instead of hustling to catch the damn thing!! WHy don't you fuckin try to catch the damn thing ??!!!:think2:

Yeah I think the check swing and the ball 4 were more obvious examples of an apparent "agenda".
Just tough to bet on baseball after something like that.

What's funny is if you call any of the radio sports talk shows tommorrow and tell them people who were on the right and wrong side of the Red Sox game thought either the fix was in or the game was fishy, I bet you would never get past the shows screener.

i actually said that right after the game ended. i agree it might have been just out of reach, but its not the 2nd innings. he should have layed out and atleast tried to catch it

I was really shocked by the lack of effort. Is GMJ injured, why wasn't he a defensive replacement?

The strike 3, the ump was scared to call a strike in front of 33K idiots.

Juan Rivera isn't athletic enough to make that play, doesn't he have bad knees as well...

The talk should be the strike down the middle to Nick Green called a ball..

You can't fault the people who want replays on balls/strikes, or at least an electric strike zone. The umpires have shown time and time again they are flat out incompetent.

What a fucking bad call. They should have replays on ball and strike especially on those crucial moments of the game FUCK dont fucking care if the game last for 12 hours FUCK! is all i can say on this game. I left when there was 2 outs in bottom of the 9th thinking that it was going to be over and fucking UMPS maade really made dumb calls O FUCK it cost me a year of my salary oh fuck! Angel's coach should have walk out or even argue w/ the umps FUCK hope that UMPS mother burn in hell and dont ever come back alive. ALL I CAN SAY IS FUCK THIS, sorry for my language but just wanted to bring out my RANT (ahh that feels better)

You should hear some of the idiots they do let through, so you might have a chance

Even so, if there was a fix, why did the Angels make it to the bottom of the ninth, up by a run with two outs and bases empty? Very little chance for the umpires to win the game. Red Sox just got a lucky gift

Umps getting paid. MLB needs to allow replays on strike calls and that ump needs to be fired. What good is it to have umps if they're gonna make horrible calls like that .Obviously the fix was in.
