I dont think it was fixed!
1. just that chicken shit 1st base Ump was scared to call a 3rd strike...green did more then a check swing, more like a batter bunting...:ohno:
2. that last pitch to green was also right down the fuckn pipe...once again Ump was scared to call a 3rd strike, otherwise they might have never made it to the airport...:):)

No fix, no way...

But bad calls? Yes!

I fell asleep last night in top of ninth when Angels took lead, but did see the highlights on ESPN this morning.

The Green check swing was really close....but probably a strike, I can see how an ump could have missed it though.

The next pitch, or ball 4 was a joke...blown call by the home plate ump...that is a strike ALL DAY LONG IN ANY SITUATION. I really cant believe Green took that pitch, he was obviosely looking for something else. But in that situation no way your not protecting the plate.

But WTF was Rivera doing? He could have caught that ball. :ohno:

They Angels prevented me from going 3-0 yesterday...or the umps did :>(

I just read this on ESPN's writeup of the game.

Fuentes walked Green with a low, borderline pitch. It was the first time in the major leagues this season a player drew a game-tying walk on a 3-2 pitch with two outs in the ninth inning.

Thanks espn, make it sting a little worse!

I lost on the Angels last night, and was pissed as a bettor, and an Angel fan. They just can't beat the damn Sox, and it kills me.

The check swing was an awful call, not close. I thought the home plate umpire should have called him out. The last pitch was NOT a strike IMO, a little low. HOWEVER.... the ump was calling low strikes ALL NIGHT LONG, and this time, decided to call it a ball. INCONSISTENT AND BAD.

With all that said, Fuentes sucks ass. He's a lefty that throws 90, nothing spectacular. When he had him down in the count, and threw fast ball after fastball... ugh, even the announcers were begging him to mix in a slider. Napoli is a solid catcher, can block just about anything. Have confindence and throw a good pitch. Good closers nowadays are hard to find.

Makes me hate the fuckin Sox even more now. That game should have ended 3 times in the 9th inning, but NO NO NO, the umps did all they could to prevent that from happening. I would be so pissed if I were on the Angels team, totally robbed of a quality win last night.
