Do they price match online companies? Found a 40 inch Toshiba LCD HDTV 1080p for 650.00 on tigerdirect, if I show Best Buy that will they sell me it for that much>?

I don't think they match online. There some shady ass TV places online that give you the TV for dirt cheap but expect you to pay big bucks for the warrenty. If you don't pay the warrenty they don't send you the TV. Fawks up price matching for BB vs. online.

It's on the top 10 sold TV's on Tiger direct, they are legit I've bought stuff from them before

I don't think so. I tried to print out an online price for my lcd and the guy told me there was no chance they could match.

Yes. I have bought from there as well. But when I tried to get them to drop the price with an online add they told me to fawk off and get it online... The guy said there is no chance they can match...

It does not hurt to try...

if you have a microcenter near you (who does admittedly have a much smaller selection of TVs) they will price match online prices. For Best Buy to match I believe the price needs to be from a local competitor.

I've almost given up on shopping for high-priced items in stores. The lack of tax and lower prices at reputable online sites is just too much to pass up... Also, you don't have a 16yr old kid trying to push extended warranties or anti-virus software on you.

You guys are right about the matching price policy.

I bought a Sony 26 inch tv from them at Christmas time.

I found a cheaper price on line and told the salesman the website and he said they only match prices from local stores.
