The reason i ask is coz i know that times are tough with the economy and all, we only managed 7 in the NFL pick 4 so I need to know wether its worth the time and effort to bring it back.

HERE is the link from last year.

If you think we should reduce the entry fee from $300 to $200 then we can consider that, but i beleive anything less than that is not worth it.

Personally I beleive with the strong NHL crowd we have here we can beat the entries generated by the pick 4 NFL and show everyone that hockey is KING.

Any retarded posts about the NHL or its relevence in this thread will be deletedd.

IN, if only to demonstrate that I can do what I did two years ago and actually finish in black.

Plus, I want to crush the guys listed above.

Hate to be a pooper to the idea of starting party on Opening Night, but I would not be able to fund my stake until Oct 12

i know some of you guys want this to start on Day 1.... but we need to allow for a little more time to get entries, and to allow those interested to get the funds ready to deposit to the holding account.

we will be starting on Tuesday Oct 13th.

suggestion...IF WE can identify at least a dozen, how about we try a half season at $200-250 each

And use that contest as an ongoing promotion for a second half season contest (perhaps even including playoffs) at similar stakes.

I'd rather keep this contest for the entire year as it has been. However I do know that sometimes contestants are out of it by the midway point and I'd be receptive to having an additional second half, (after the Olympic break), contest. I do understand this would be more work for JOH and some contestants may not have the funds or interest to do this. But I'm always interested in having side wagers with one or more participants to whatever conditions or time frames agreed upon. This way we also alleviate from imposing on JOH to keep score on a additional contest.
