Looking for a better day today after a disappointing 1-2 day yesterday. Starting off with the mid-afternoon game.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS -115

Yanks clinched a playoff berth last night, so they can afford to take a deep breath here and possibly rest a few players, especially in the day game after a long night. Angels are close to clinching, but they need a few more wins. I think they get to Burnett today, who's been struggling somewhat lately, and decrease that all-important magic number. BOL!!

Angels-Yankees are still pending, locked up in a tight one. Gonna add my second play of the night, and there will be a third as well.

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES -144

It's getting closer to October, and Cole Hamels is finally starting to round into last year's postseason form. That spells trouble for the opposition from here on out, imo. The Marlins burned me yesterday in the first game of the doubleheader with their ace on the mound. I don't expect them to fare any better with the Phils' ace on the mound. Phillies take it tonight. BOL!!

TEXAS RANGERS -124

Oakland has been playing great ball, and Texas has fallen off the map as far as the playoff race is concerned, but I expect both these trends to turn around tonight. Oakland will revert back to their losing ways, and I believe Texas will finish out the season on a better note than the way they are playing right now. Tommy Hunter has been a solid find for the Rangers' rotation this year, and I think he gets the job done tonight against the A's. BOL!!
