IOWA is riding a seven game winning streak, included in that streak is the only BIG TEN team to win a bowl game last year(over South Carolina) and a win over PENN STATE.............

Iowa has more returning starters and PROBABLY a better arrary of Freshman contributing currently than PSU.


NOW, DO I LIKE IOWA TO DEFEAT PSU THIS SATURDAY????.........I DIDN'T SAY THAT............


What I am pointing out is that PSU is highly, highly, highly OVERrated.


Get this, IOWA entered the season ranked 22nd in the AP POLL and are now 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS and ranked 34th...........?? The reason for this is their narrow win over Northern Iowa, A TEAM that has outscored their opponents 96-3 in their games since and probably should be ranked #1 in the FCS(they are currently #3).

I will have my PREDICTED FINAL score in this IOWA-PSU match-up late FRIDAY NIGHT.............

the question is wether you like them to cover the 10 points? who cares about an actual win/loss

agree psu is highly overrated on both sides of the ball tbh. do think they cover this week however. can't seem a team who has to believe they have some type of title shot starting 0-4 ATS at home, especially on a saturday night showdown vs a strong iowa team who ruined theirh season last year.


btw, how does PSU play 8 games at home and only 4 on the road, including the first 4 at home to start the season?

Penn State is overrated every single year. They are lucky they start off the season with a good ranking. Joe Pa is a pussy. Every year he has one of the easiest schedules in the nation. Fuck him and fuck penn state I hope Iowa wins by 30.

i hope iowa wins, it would be the 3rd top 5 team to go down this early in the season...id love to see boise st or a tcu run it and see all the big boys have more than 1 loss so no one could deny them their place this year....it has all the makings early bc OU/USC have already fallen...hopefully PSU is next on the list...

Well, ARIZONA is probably better than NORTHERN IOWA.......but it's very close.

NORTHERN IOWA is close to being better than at least half the teams in the FBS...................they are actually rated one notch below PSU in the Sagarin rankings..........I believe PSU is 32ND and UNI is 33rd.

I respectfully disagree as N. Iowa beats Arizona by at least 10. Better offense by far especially at the QB position.

Think PSU handles them by a couple TDs

Sure looks like the Lions are barely two dimensional on offense this season. One tailback averaging just under 80 ypg and that includes 136 vs Temple.

Hawks counter with a pair of rushers avg 4.6 and 5.2 ypc....120 ypg overall and 160 ypg past two weeks.

Ball control sure makes 9.5 pts look tasty and 10 before kickoff even better.
