Just checking to see if there are any gamers out there who play on live?

I do. But I don't really play on live that often. Probably not until the new Call Of Duty comes out in Nov. And then I will be on quite often.

Right now, working on the single player campaign for HALO 3 : ODST. I think this game kind of sucks to be honest.

Halo ODST took only 10 hours to beat. I'm so glad I rent games instead of buy them. I heard some people beat it in much less time.

Right now working on Cabela's big game hunter 2010. This is the most red neck video game I have ever played. I'm not really cool with stalking and killing innocent animals for fun. But in a fictional video game setting, I have to say that this is mildly amusing.

Same here. I have played for exactly one week (not actual game time, but a couple hours each day of the week) since last December. Got tired of the new Call of Duty: WaW and quit.

Now with the new COD coming out (which I have already pre-ordered), I will probably be playing quite a bit this Winter. Hardly ever play during the Spring/Summer.

Agree. The Red Ring of Death failure rate in Xbox 360s is anywhere from 33-50%. Of all the people I know who has an Xbox, only one is still on their first unit.

I had a PS1, had it for years and sold it to a guy at work 8 years ago when I got my PS2. Last I heard it's still going. I had that same PS2 for 8 years when I traded it in on a PS3 a few weeks back. Bill Gates can SMD.

Just the opposite for me. I bought a PS3 the day of launch (stood in line and all that), and it stopped reading discs about a year and a half later. I had an original XBOX that I got a couple months after it came out, and it is still going strong, as is the 360 that I got about a year after it came out. No Red Ring of Death here, knock on wood.

The first batch of PS3's had some kind of defect reading discs, but of course mine was out of warranty so I had to buy another one. Thankfully, no problems so far with my second PS3.

We have one but I never get to play because I have a 17 and 15 year old, and they have friends... Best purchase I ever made was to buy a new DLP flat screen and move the old one to the basement. Now if I could just sound proof the basement all would be great.

I did try that! It is a pretty fun mini game. Best thing about WAW was the flame thrower, it was so fun to use it was almost disturbing.

Modern Warfare 2 is going to be something else.

But, the flame thrower kind of sucked when you were actually trying to use it to kill somebody. It's been proven that just about any weapon (including pistols) will take down an enemy quicker with a few well placed shots (or one if its a head shot) than the flame thrower. When the game came out I remember there was so much hype surrounding the flame thrower but when I finally got it, I was really disappointed because the damage just wasn't right and so it was essentially useless. Fun to use when it works, though!

Yup you are right. But watching guys wave their arms around frantically and screaming ahh! ahh! is gaming bliss.

I guess more of a campaign weapon.

Deac, I have to give you credit while on the subject of games. Call of Juarez 2 was great. Would have never played it if not for your recommend. Loved the story and the game play. Beat it once each with both Thomas and then Ray. Terrific game. They needed to show more Marissa though ^_^
