last MO I bought ( Walmart) was to send to Bowmans when I first started betting sports.

Didn't Lazerwager pay with MO's....when they paid ?

I think the only people that pay bills with MO's are like illegal aliens.

Also if one gets tipped in cash

or wins cash money.... there can be less of a paper trail...... money never went into your bank account.... they are free at any local amscot here in FLA .. many online sellers wont take a check....

I use M.O.'s quite frequently.......why not, as 5teamer stated, they are free to use here in Florida via Amscot.

Amscot is a statewide CheckCashingPaydayLoan biz that uses free money orders as a loss leader.

SheBar and I pay our rent with those and also a handful of bills per month.

Plus I use them when making my regularly scheduled financial donations to church or other non-profit orgs.

Can't you write a check for rent, and pay most monthly bills electronically ?

The hassle of bringing cash to this place for a MO, seems too much for me !

Doug, I pay everything with MOs,,,, I owe for my home only, all other bills are discretionary,,, phone, ins. electricity, blah blah,,

better for me personally to keep my check traffic low.

dope dealers
bookies
working for cash
illegals
etc.

It's not illegal to have a checking account ! ( yet) :laugh:
