mac or pc?

always been a pc guy but wanna try mac. can get up to 300 dollars off a mac model if i buy relatively soon.

wanna hear from people who have mac or have used both.

I totally agree. Mac's are way better then PC's...... Its not even close.

mac uses the same hardware as pc, so if you want to pay $500 more for the software, go ahead.

I only used PC's until about three years ago when I was sick of popups, viruses, etc. So I decided to give Mac a shot. Never once have I gotten a virus. I never have to put up with popups, and the thing is just a machine.

The Mac programs are incredible (IMovie, GarageBand,IPhoto, etc)

A few months ago I just bought a new desktop. I now have two Mac desktops and two Mac laptops.

The reason you don't get them on a Mac is because they are written for Windows not a Mac.

Rarely do Macs get a virus or pop ups but it's not because it's a superior machine it's because people aren't going to their waste time creating a virus that would affect so few computers.

school work, entertainment, etc.

im definitely going with the mac for a changeup, even though they are more expensive. all thecomputers ive had that break down are pc with windows.

Gaming you really need Windows, but you can install that on a mac with boot camp etc..

It's amazing how everywhere you ask everyone says the mac is better and yet the numbers say that way more people use pc's. If it's so much better than why doesn't everyone use it?
