people often come in here and bitch about how terrible their luck was or how fucked up a closer or reliever did....id like to go onr ecord for all 9 people in the forum today (during college football) to say that the BJs late inning heroics, and just as important jason frasor really saved my bacon today

Frasor came in during difficult time after jays just tied it and has pitched 2 beautiful 1,2,3 innings , which included 3 of 6 outs on strikeouts....thanks a bunch Frasor!

if the Jays were in the Central, they would win that division every year... its a real shame that they have to be out bought by the Yankees and Red Sox

with Aaron Hill, Adam Lind, and Travis Snider and solid pitching, this team should compete next season. Need a closer and a shortstop of Scoot isn't resigned.... and of course, hopefully Doc stays

Wells has been red hot recently too. If he could manage to perform on the same level as he has the last 3 years (on average) then perhaps we could do some damage. Jays will most likely no re-sign Millar, MacDonald, Bautista...so maybe they can bring in someone that's half decent to fill in the utility spot. They also need a decent 3rd baseman because Encarnacion will not do the job, even though he's been hot the last week and a half. If jays can somehow (doubt it lol) sign Holliday to replace Overbay then this lineup will destroy other teams next year.

IMO the bullpen has been very disappointing, giving up a lot of runs in late innings from May until end of August...maybe they'll bounce back next year.

Brother I'm with you man, the Blue Jays come back really saved my ass today. I fucking went heavy on this play and lost my 2 college picks so I would've been buried for the day if the Jays didn't come back.
DOn't know if I should just count my lucky stars and stop for the day or use this to rally?
Don't really like much else on the card today though

agree with everything here except for maybe Overbay

Millar has been absolutely awful for us. Everytime we had a runner on 3rd and 1 out, Millar would just kill it. Im not a fan of Johnny Mac... I know he's a fan favorite, but I think Bautista is a much better utility player... he can at least hit the ball.

Encarnacion is definitely a concern at the 3rd base spot... his fielding skills are awful... maybe we were just spoiled with Scott Rolens fantastic plays everytime he took the field lol.

next season the rotation should be:

1) Doc (hopefully)
2) Ricky Romero
3) Dustin McGowan
4) Brett Cecil
5) wide open...

that #5 spot is up for grabs in my opinion... but if jesse litch can come back from tommy john, i saw give it to him and put marc zep in the bullpen.

Randy Ruiz at DH??? d1g1t
