cant always base the polls on who beat who...but moreso on the whole body of work....

just figure last year, if they had to rank Mississippi ahead of Florida all year.....

but agree, penn state probalby not a real titan this yeear..

Ok, go look at the body of work then.


Iowa has an 8 game winning streak(2nd longest in nation)......with TWO wins over PSU and better quality wins this season than PSU(barely).

You can't find ONE respected poster on this site that would vote PSU ahead of Iowa if they had a vote...........and apparretly this poll had a host of them.........seriously, I don't get it.

PENN STATE may not be a top four team in the big ten..........ohio state, wisky, mich, iowa...........I personally believe all four are better.

I wasnt disagreeing with the fact that Iowa maybe should be ranked ahead of Penn State, was just going by the fact that you cant say A beat B, A has to be ranked higher.....

right now, after what i saw last night, yes, Iowa should be ranked higher.....

The polls are behind ridiculous. Look at Houston being behind Oklahoma State. Houston clearly has more quality wins & still can't get ahead. Oregon is behind Cal in the coaches poll. BYU behind Oklahoma, etc....

Polls are fraudulent

I agree. PSU has done nothing at home so far this season. Now they have to go on the road. This game should be maybe PSU -2 or -3...but thats about it.
