I will start with two epic ones that I have never lived down..

Billy Squier---My Kinda Lover...For years I sang.... "My Candelabra"

Golden Earring-- Radar Love...my version.."Red Eye Love"..

there are so many more I have butchered but these two are at the top..

What is yours?

ya "excuse me while i kiss this guy" was always a funny one.

I still actually think John Foggerty is singing "there's a bathroom on the right" instead of "there's a bad moon on the rise"

Oh. Classic one for me.

It always sounds like "I'm not talk'n about the linen" is actually "I'm not talk'n bout moving in"

From "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight"

that is one people always talk about it seems. It is supposed to be "revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night" or something about revving up a deuce. But i swear everytime i hear that song it sounds like "wrapped up like a douche"

one that makes me laugh when i hear it is from Steve Miller's Fly Like an Eagle, there is a line about shoe the children, and years ago when i was stoned with some friends riding around and it came on the radio one dude was singing along and when it got to that line he was singing shoot the children, and because we were high i guess , we thought it was the funniest thing and laughed are heads off and made fun of that dude forever it seemed, especially whenever that song came on and he was around.
It just has always stuck with me.

actually the original written by bruce..was 'cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night'....the manfred mann version...which is the one you prolly hear on the radio most of the time is 'revved up like a deuce another runner in the nite'...and l'ville kid u aint wrong, the way the singer ennunciates, it sounds like wrapped up like a douche...and to this day springsteen swears by his ennunciation as helping it become his only #1 song on the charts ever as a songwriter....

This is a great topic. There are a lot for me... I think the funniest thing is usually what you think the song says makes absolutely no sense. Then you find out the actual words and it makes A LOT more sense.

Can't forget about Steve Miller's "Jet Airliner" which always used to sound like "Big ol' jet had a light on".

"She's got electric BOOBS" from Elton John, I was only 7 or 8 when I used to hear this on my moms car radio. Sounded like my kinda girl at that young age.

Actually the song in the news today is one of those. A kid i guess Lennons came home from nursery school and instead of singing the nursery ryhme it sounded as though he was singing Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Lennon heard it and thats where the song came from...
