contract wasn't renewed at ESPN last Feb because he wanted more money.

he then got a radio gig in dallas and was fired for sexting.

Speaking of "what happened to this guy moments" what happened to the former VT RB drafted by the Lions Kevin Jones? I thought he had a pretty good rookie year if I'm not mistaken.

re: Salisbury....He was overcome by his own obnoxiousness. I'm amazed he got to the national level to begin with. He and John Fricke had an am show in SD. More than once, he challenged callers to a fight. In addition, he was so full of himself and his opinions, that he could not see reality. He saw himself, like nobody else did; as a former NFL QB star, who just did not get the breaks.......Not to mention his er er er stuttering issues. RIP Sean

I heard John Clayton has a pony tail.

Anybody ever seen the back of his head?

story on the radio the other day was that he had pictures of his cock on his cell phone that he liked to show off. Usually doesn't go over too well in the workplace

whatever happened to the contest winner for " i wanna be an espn sports anchor' or whatever they called it 4-5 years back, maybe even longer. They hyped that thing up and then it went away.

The winner of that contest was given a 1 year contract. They occasionally put him on Espn News (which I don't watch that often) and I think I saw him lead a half hour college basketball show. I suspect they let him go once the contract was up.

Regarding Sean Salisbury, I'm suprised he wasn't fired after the comment he made saying the Colts "Jewed the ball down the field" after the 2006 AFC Championship game. Espn actually covered his ass and claimed he said "Chewed". Their excuse was an insult to anyone's intelligence.

Mike Hall won the 1st season of this show. He got paid 95k for his first year. He now works for Big 10 network and is a sideline reporter for NFL Fox. He was with espn from 04 to 07.

He Was, Is, And Always Will Be

A fat, obnoxious, arrogant asshole. Other than that a great guy. He was terrible @ ESPN in ANY capacity. A lousy QB, he played for the Vikes. A real dickhead. I hope he never gets a job in the public domain!:>(

damn i never remembered the dude being there at espn that long, seemed like he won and then disappeared. That's cool that he has turned it into something and is still working, must be nice to get paid around 6 figures to cover sports and get to travel on a company's dime.

i heard him on radio in san diego and i must agree with chick's fridge
in that he was pretty arrogant. if someone disagreed with him, he
seemed to go the "i played the game and you didn't" card pretty
often to justify his point of view and trivialize the opposing point.
by the time he got to espn, he seemed to be able to mask his contempt
of opposing thoughts better and he was working with peers on a national
stage, not a local radio program. he seemed to have decent insights and
the ability to communicate them. although i didn't care for him because
of my exposure to the real sean salisbury from his radio days. i felt
he was adequate for the national stage. i certainly felt he had overachieved, but i respected him for that. it's sad to hear that
he has gone this far downhill so soon.
