It is a tough matchup on Tuesday for the Twins since they will be facing 17-game winner Justin Verlander. The good news for Minnesota is that they have their own young pitcher, Brian Duensing, going for them.<o

Duensing is 1-0 with a 0.61 in three appearances vs. the Tigers this season although only one appearance was a start. Verlander dominated Minnesota last time out for seven innings but things came apart in the 8<sup>th</sup> inning and the Tigers lost.<o

[FONT=&quot]This series is huge for both teams but Detroit manager Jim Leyland is trying to still make it fun. "This is fun," he said. "You don't start making a big deal about it with a week [to go]. I'm not trying to do that. We've got our own destiny in our own hands. That's just the way it is. You either do it or you don't. And I feel very good where we're at, but you have to go out and win games.”<o

A lot of teams are eliminated already. We're still playing for something and in a pretty good position." <o
