SQNM -- possible bounce play for tomorrow.

I've traded it and out of this stock a few times, but tomorrow is looking like a great day for a short-term flip. They fired their CEO due to a probe in their down-syndrome testing. Get in tomorrow under $3 and possibly sell same day for $3.50. Just a possibility, no one knows how low she's gonna go this time, lol.

Sorry to those of you who bought recently and/or are long SQNM, but tomorrow is gonna be ugly for you if you werent able to sell today after-hours.

I think today was the end of this trade, it will be slow liquidation and erosion of what ever value is there from here.

Possible, although this news was already taken into account a few months ago when it crashed to $3 (from $14) and rebounded nicely since that time frame to the $5-6 it closed at today. My guess is it'll be a similar "dead-cat bounce" and you can make some quick cash -- this is basically what investors were told back in May when the news originally hit. Nothing has really changed in my eyes and this was a bit of an over-reaction ... then again, I wasn't on the Con Call so I didn't hear exactly what else might've been revealed. Might be dead money, might be the same bounce and easy money. This is Gambler's Forum, right!? : )

Two-day play at most IMO. Just a whisper from a friend.

Didnt work as planned, I still bought at $3.20 and sold @ $3.75. $500. Cant complain for 20 mins worth of work, lol. Hope everyone made a little extra cash

I bought at 4.14 and yeh its proven to be a nice hold, thank you for pointing it out!

I am small time though and tyring to built up my portfolio, for instance I only have 100 shares of SQNM, but its been fun to watc over last 2 weeks

Cool man ... I knew it was worth at least $5 on book value, but couldnt hold it long-term, was just a flip for me. Glad it's been profitable for you. Not sure why all the momentum lately, seems to be a lot of M&A in the biopharma industry on the horizon, so speculation is probably fueling a lot of the move. Congrats for holding.

SQNM is going to report their earnings on Monday the 15th after market closes, in your opinion is this a good or bad thing? I am not holding you to anything but I just kinda wanted your opinion, it's hard for me to get a read on exaclty whos full f sht or not reading the boards, etc. ...

I havent really been following the company, so I dont know what to expect from earnings. I'd guess financials will probably show them losing money again, but investors dont always make a big deal about Pharma companies losing money, as long as they have a pipeline of drugs that will be profitable in the future.

I dont know what SQNM has in its pipeline anymore to be honest. I'm guessing they'll come in with a loss of about .20 a share ... it'll show up as (.20) on the EPS line in their financial report.

But, I'd take the money and run. It's been a profitable ride up here, and you've made the easy money already. Time to walk away and find the next easy money trade. GL

Can't remember the name of one analyst gave them a "BUY" with a target of $16.00. Lol. There is "anal" in the term analyst for a reason.

Yep, earnings not so hot ... kinda figured it would be quite some time before they became profitable. At $8, they were priced to perfection ... if it gets down to $4, I might take a small stake.

Hope Stealth took my advice and sold his position.

Just glad you were able to lock-in 100% profits. Nice job!!

If it gets back down to $4, it's a buy for sure. Will keep an eye on it.
