I was just wondering where the closest distributor is to the strip? I will be going to Vegas soon, but one of my family members wont be 21 until midnight of the night we get there. So I am trying to plan ahead now and figure out where I can go to get beer.

Any store in Las Vegas has beer and there are many 24 hour stores at that

A distributor is like some company that delivers to a bar.

Anybody can buy a case, if 21, anywhere, anytime.

I'll call it misuse of language. No biggie, wait until fully legal...perhaps, Vegas ain't that strict on carding anyways!

If the minor looks 21+, should be a go.

A beer distributor is the wholesaler. They cannot sell to anyone/business without a liquor license. Many stores are open 24/7 in LV, so there will be no problem finding booze.

just poor wording by Boxer....

You'll get your beer, just not delivered by a a "distrubutor".

Retailer is what you need.

Im wayyyyy over 21, but the reason I am traveling to Vegas is because someone I am going with is turning 21 at midnight when we get there. So he will be there for 12 hours before he can get into a club/bar. So I was just wondering where I could go and pick up some cases.

Where I am from there are distributors all over the place. Where you can just walk in and buy a case and leave..... Maybe different areas of the country have different names for these places? Just because its name is a distributor doesn't mean they have to deliver. You can also go there and pick it up.

They do.

Some of the casinos have liquor stores in them. The ABC Stores are all over the place also.

Thanks.... We must have different rules in Philadelphia because I only get my beer from distributors. Unless obviously im going to a bar, but like I said in the previous post maybe different parts of the country use different terms.

yep you can buy cases and bottles to bring back to your room(s), no problem. It's not cheap, though ! You need to go to where locals buy ( if possible)

You can go to the supermarket at 4am on Sunday, and buy a 1.75 L bottle of JD, or a shopping cart full of whatever liquors you want.

Philly or Hawaii, BTW ?

What is this ? A vocabulary test ? The guy wants to buy a case of beer ! Go to almost any 7 eleven or Smiths store in town at any time day or night and you can find any amount and brand of beer you want ! Let's make it easy. Forget all the tests !:toast::103631605
BTW It's pretty damn cheap at Smiths or Albertsons !

Pennsylvania is one of the few states where the state is in overall control of alcohol distribution, so the distribution methods are different than what most of us are used to seeing.

Not at Hard Rock, Wynn or Encore. They will check your bags and luggage for it.Don't know about some of the other hotels but I didn;t have any problems at places like Rio or Silverton or anyplace downtown.

That's pretty outrageous, IMO !

I'd never stay at Wynn or Encore anyway.

You should be able to bring anything to your room ( except maybe a handgun ?), including a midget tranny hooker.

They search your fucking luggage ? ....outstanding ! :>(^<<^

Don't they already do that at the airports ?

I don't make a habit of drinking in my room, but if I want to, that's my call.

There are signs up that say no outside food or beverages. They have guards stationed near the elevators. Some days they don't seem to care that much other days they do.It's pathetic.
