Best to offer a few hours before gametime ( or earlier, once you know what you want to play). Early offers ( like 12 hours before game), need babysitting.
If there is a two cent straddle like -120/+118 ( more like 4 hours before the game), with thousands available each way....that is the time to offer -119/+119 ( whichever way you want it)....those offers fill !
I can't figure out those last minute moves on the lines, but even when I catch the worst of them, it's still similar to like 5D reduced vig lines.
